10am – 4pm

In the spirit of 70s radical film this workshop explores structural-materialist film through theory and practice. Work with a variety of media to explore mark making and repetition directly onto film. Make loops, combine text, image, multiple gauges and fragments from mixed sources; experiment with different mechanical devices of typewriters, sewing machines and bicycles as with Reel Time (Annabel Nicolson) and Newsprint (Guy Sherwin).

No previous experience required.

Suggested donation £25 (£10 concession).
