Found Footage Film Workshop led by Vicky Smith

Saturday 30 September 10-5pm

Make an experimental analogue film and take it away with you at the end of the workshop.

The Found Footage Film Workshop will be a hands-on day of making, learning and discussion. Participants will:
>Learn about histories, theories and current practices of found footage filmmaking.
>Use film technologies of splicer, 16mm steenbeck and projector.
>Explore continuity editing, montage and single frame discontinuity.

The workshop is led by BEEF member Vicky Smith who has been practicing experimental film and animation for 25 years and has led workshops nationally and internationally including at the London Film Makers Coop, LUX, Hull Film Festival, Spacex, Arnolfini, and AFTRS in Australia.

The workshop is in response to screening and discussion event by found footage and bricolage film maker Ruth Novaczek at BEEF on 3rd October.
