Bermuda Triangle Test Transmission Broadcasts Radiophonic Workshop

Thursday 8th June, 2 – 5.30pm, FREE – booking required via the a-n eventbrite page: a-n Assembly Bristol tickets

Brunswick Club, 15-16 Brunswick Square, BS2 8NX

The Bermuda Triangle Test Transmission Broadcasts is weekly radio programme devised by BEEF artists in residence Howard Jacques & Melanie Clifford, testing sounds and ideas within and without the radio studio. It’s currently broadcast live from BEEF via London’s radio arts station Resonance 104.4FM and worldwide online via resonancefm.com

As excited new migrants to Bristol, Howard and Melanie are seeking others interested in sound as material to join them for an afternoon’s collaborative seeking, improvising, recording, engineering and composing. Together we will produce an hour-long radiophonic work to be broadcast later that evening from the Brunswick Club. No experience is necessary and all experience is valid.

All participants are invited back to join us for the radio broadcast 11pm – midnight, but  you don’t need to be able to do that to take part. Just book a ticket and turn up by 2pm.

Contact testtransmissions@gmail.com for more info.

The BTTTB Radiophonic Workshop is part of Assembly, a 2 day programme of events produced by a-n The Artists Information Company with Bristol-based artist Julie McCalden, BEEF and our Brunswick Club comrades CHAMP.
