Preview: Friday 4 March 6.30pm with performances from 8.30pm
Show continues on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March 2016, 12 – 5pm

Two floors of the cavernous Georgian building temporarily occupied by BEEF will be the platform for the inaugural Members’ Show as BEEF celebrates its first year and prepares to close the door to 25 Portland Square before moving to a new home. The exhibition will bring together work from some thirty members of the BEEF collective presented throughout the building. A site for collaborative entanglements. One thing will seep into another. There will be no labels, no map. Identity will be collective.

Bristol Experimental & Expanded Film (BEEF) is a film and sound collective supporting experimental practice in Bristol. BEEF provides an independent platform for artists’ production, distribution and critical engagement, often focusing on analogue practices. BEEF’s members are artists, curators and researchers organising a regular programme of events, exhibitions, film & sound workshops and screenings.

Some of the works in this show have been generously supported by the Centre for Moving Image Research BEEF bursary scheme.

This show is a part of the PARALLEL: ICO ART + CINEMA WEEKEND hosted by Arnolfini.
